How much does decor affect home appraisal value?
I recently bought a townhouse as-is and it appraised for $110. When I'm done painting and replacing all the flooring, the entry way tile and fireplace tile and some of the light fixtures, do you think the appraisal value will increase?

very little. you will get some but not a lot as you have floor coverings and there is paint on the walls and light fixtures there now right. It may help you sell faster if that is your goal

Not much. It depends on if you went from no flooring or not. You have to increase the general condition of the house, if it was Good to start with and Good afterwards there is no increase. If it went from Poor to Good you will see an marginal increase.
